Etymology
Thorin: "Bold"
Dolan: "Bold," "Dark-haired."


Dolan King is the displaced grandson of Everett King, head of the former Durin Corporation which specialized in African and South American mining operations. When a family scandal brought to light certain not-so-legal practices committed by the corporation in their gold and diamond mines, a disgraced Everett reportedly killed himself and his son William went insane, was put under pshyciatric care, and died.

Dolan believes that the scandal that ruined his family name was manufactured by long time business rivals Azog Inc and SMAUG Worldwide Industries. He is currently working with a small group of unlikely experts to try to clear his family of wrong doings and rebuild the Durin Corporation.

Of course, none of that is easy and Dolan's had to dip into a far seedier and grittier world than he could ever have imagined.
